Top end of Ruby Ridge as it encounters Apache Ridge at Roman Nose.
Within 30 yards of the road behind a LARGE boulder. Wading thru hip
deep huckleberries and some brush on slightly uneven ground. around
5000 feet elevation(thats just a guess) My folks said that they
camped here about fifty years ago and it is still a great place to
camp, fish, hunt, and pick huckleberries. less than 20 miles from
the pavement at the bottom of the hill. And there is another cache
up at the lakes.
the 30 cal. ammo can is stuffed with kids toys and some camp gear.
so bring the children and have a good time.
