Geocache Description:

This cache is one of a series placed in and around the University of Tennessee campus. We have permission from UT for these to be placed. You may need tweezers or something similar to get the log out of the container. The series is best done on foot or on a bicycle as parking WILL NOT usually be readily available, especially on home football weekends. On weekends, (non football) after 5pm weekdays, and holidays, you should have no trouble finding a close parking spot.

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DISCRIPTION BEFORE HEADING OUT TO FIND ANY CACHES IN THIS SERIES!

The University of Tennessee College of Law opened its doors in 1890. The College of Law is housed in a modern facility, which opened during the spring of 1997. The new building contains state-of-the-art technology including a wireless computer network throughout, complete audio visual teaching support in each classroom, and video recording and playback capabilities.

The building houses the Charles H. Miller Legal Clinic, which is the longest continually operating legal clinic in America.

In recognition of his benevolence to the College of Law, the main rotunda of the law school has been dedicated to former U.S. Senator and White House Chief of Staff Howard H. Baker, Jr., a 1949 graduate.

There are tables and chairs near where the cache is hidden in case you want to sit, rest, and take in the view of the comings and goings. Inside the building, there is a small coffee shop if you wnat to get something to eat.

DO NOT park in any of the Staff or Commuter parking lots if you come before 5pm, M-f. You WILL get a ticket. (trust me on this, I used to be a ticket writer here and them people is vicious!)

If you come after 5pm on a weekday, during school breaks, or on the weekends, you may park in any commuter or staff lot, unless otherwise posted, or an event/home football game is going on.

Feel free to email us prior to your arrival and we will be happy to give you advise on where to park

If you come up empty handed, post a DNF, then email us for a hint.
