This park has a bike trail going through it. Also, a new mountain
bike path snakes around here too. The bike path starts near Wixom
Road and continues to Richardson Center. There is a nice board walk
and hills to go up and down. Hill Hiker and myself try to complete
this bike path at least twice a season. We will place a full tour
cache (Long) along the route at a future date. If you feel like
some exercise, follow the bike path to the west.
This cache is an ammo box within Hickory Glens Park.
The ammo box is stuffed full of good trading items. This is a
signature trading cache also! Please bring extra signature items to
be traded at this cache. I started the cache with many signature
items. First Finders Prize is a new MiGO Coin. It is yours to
activate and call your own. Also, Your name will be posted in Bold
for the next 100 years on this site as a first finder! :>)
This cache is fun to do on bike!. Also, there is a Floating
Bridge to Cross! It is one of the few plastic floating bridges in
Michigan! The drawback of a Floating Bridge is it catches all the
debris floating down stream. Not good! Have fun and enjoy the
Hickory Glens Park!
