Due to the lack of new caches in the area, we thought we would place another new one. We have tried to make this one more difficult and challenging and of course more fun! We hope you will enjoy it as much as we did while setting it up!
Welcome to your new adventure! Some of you locals might be familiar with this area but we were just introduced to it by a family member this past weekend.
The cache is located approximately 10 miles north of Dryden on Highway 665(Richan Road). You can find good parking just off of the highway at the following co-ordinates:
N 49 55.576 W 092 51.248. We're not sure if this area is plowed out in the winter though.
Before you start your short walk from the parking area we recommend the following essentials: a good pair of shoes, long pants and a flashlight (pretty tricky without one of these).
When you arrive at your coordinates (not the best reception, but not too bad), and if your search is successful, you will be able to see the cache, but it will be "JUST OUT OF REACH". Now the fun really begins as you search for a way to retrieve it.
If you are the "First to Find" this treasure you will be rewarded with the coveted "JUST OUT OF REACH" trophy that you can proudly display on your mantle with the bragging rights that goes along with it.
Be sure and take your picture with the camera in the cache, but leave it behind for the next guy.
The cache is a 2 or 3 gallon plastic kitty litter container (half camouflaged) and contains the following goodies:
-1st to Find Trophy (some assembly required due to cache size limitations),(see attached photo)

Even though this is a large cache it is quite full, but once the FTF trophy is gone there will be lots of room for any trading goodies you may have. Please put the cache back in its orginal spot for the next guy.
