Geocache Description:

Location provides a great view to the east. Route is 99% on-trail starting from the Green Rock Picnic Area (USFS Day-Use Fee required). "Overlook" at end is near 10,000 ft. elevation.

Cache is a traditional .50 caliber ammo can, initially loaded with "Wyoming Stuff." The views from the cache include the backside of the Snowy Range Ski Area, the north end of Sheep Mountain, and for the "good eyes," the edge of Laramie off in the far east. Area is frequented by summer and fall hikers, as well as winter backcountry skiers and snowshoers. If you visit in the winter, a shovel might be handy.
