Watery Grave is a small traditional Cache in a small wood bordered to the south by a graveyard. The other edges are bordered by a canal and the river Salwarpe
(Hence the name)
The cache is close to a quiet village and on the Monarchs Way.
The Monarchs Way footpath follows the trail of the escape of Charles II following his defeat at the Battle of Worcester in 1651.( goto www.monarchsway.50megs.com)
Take the trail through the Church yard and the path leads down onto the canal.
To the West of the trail is a small wooded area bordering the Graveyard. A smaller trail leads into this past a fallen tree. The cache is off to the left of this trail in the wood.
The cache is in a small Tupperware box at the base of where four tree limbs come out of the ground.
Along the Canal a short walk North there is a Picnic table. The walk in either directions have scenic views, but the route south gives a longer walk.
