The letterbox hybrid is located high up on the Cadair Idris range overlooking the main summit of Pen y Gadair.
The letterbox / cache may be approached using any of the recognised routes to the summit of Cadair Idris, though locating it will involve a detour to the neighbouring peak of Cyfrwy.
The letterbox / cache contains a log book and pen as well as a unique rubber stamp. Please remember to take along an ink pad and paper, should you wish to acquire an impression of the rubber stamp.
The wearing of walking boots is definitely recommended as you will be crossing classic mountain terrain to get to the cache location. Please beware of the tremendous drops on the Northern side of Pen y Gadair and Cyfrwy - it's a very long drop.
