Geocache Description:

The cache is under a fallen tree.

The cache shows a rare phenomenon in Hungary : a spring in the middle of a plain ! It’s name is GERJE, and is located int the very heart of the little town called Pilis. It was a superb job of the citizens to keep this little green pearl untouched ! Because the surroundings is merely plain, the spring forms here some ponds and little lakes. In he waters and on the shores there are various and beautiful plants, wild ducks, snakes, lizards and dragonflies. From this enchanted land, the spring flows through the Kiskunság Plain, and in the end, merge with the Tisza River. The place is so close to a main road (bringing you across Europe from West to East) Road No. 4. Approaching from the capital, you can arrive here by train from Budapest (approx. 35 min. travel). You can leave your car/start the walk at N 47° 16,840' E 19° 33,2040'.
There are some wooden chairs to rest, tables to eat or drink, and some places for bonfires: N 47° 16,9370' E 19° 33,4560'.
Warning ! Due to the prescence of water and swamp, you can encounter some mosquitoes, so defend yourself !
Good luck !
