This historic site has been the recipient of several Eagle projects including the repair of the fencing and the repair of the shelter for the Park's animals. All of the materials had to be authentic from General Vallejo's time, which meant finding the proper wood and harvesting and drying tule reeds for the roof.
This is the second set in a new national series called “Cache to Eagle.” These locations highlight Eagle Service Projects by the Boy Scouts of the Miwok District of Redwood Empire Council. This is a fairly easy hide, good for beginners.
The Photo highlights the Eagle Project site and may or may not include the location of the actual cache, although it will be nearby.
