The Owl Boneyard Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

House of Love: Well, it was definitley muggled. Looks like some kids unearthed it in the process of building their treehouse out there in the Boneyard and took it for their own. Can't say I might not have done the same thing if I was a kid out there building a fort and found a cool ammo can. Thanks to all who visited; I am archiving this cache. We'll get another one out there soon.

Geocache Description:

This is the sacred lair of the Mather owls, and the ground nearby is their boneyard.

This is our first cache, so we tried to make it both interesting and close to home. We discovered this area not too long ago and our youngest dubbed it the Owl Boneyard. While out on the hunt, you can enjoy the views of the vernal pool fields in the area. No dogs or bicycles are permitted in the area. Keep and eye out for critters like voles, hawks, bees, butterflies, snakes, turkeys, rabbits, coyotes and OWLS! This area will likely be wet and more challenging in the rainy season. If there is any feedback about coordinates or difficulty, please let us know. Please take care to rehide the cache as you found it so the next cachers can enjoy the challenge of the hunt as well. The cache is a large ammo can.
