County road A018 turns northwest off of state road 26 approx. 9 miles east of the 26/180 intersection. It’s a good dirt road suitable for 2 wheel drive vehicles. There’s room to turn around but be careful where you park, stay on the road.. When we placed the cache Wild_Willy parked in a bumpy but seemingly harmless spot. When we went to leave we couldn’t get traction. Thank goodness for 4 wheel drive.
The road from Deming to Hatch is a long and lonely drive. So we are placing a series of caches to make the trip more interesting. This one will take you a few miles out of your way. This is a small container suitable for very small trade items only. Besides the log book and pencil we started it off with a pair of dice, marble, play money and a glow in the dark star.
