Geocache Description:

A short stroll on the edge of a scorched hillside.

Two of our caches were lost in the recent Black Mountain Wildfire. While replacing the burned caches, we decided to add a new cache as well..."Scorched 2."

This will give everyone an up-close look at the devastation and an opportunity to watch nature recover.

We placed this micro cache close to ground zero for the fire....Stay on the trail; no bushwacking.

Trailhead accessible from Hilltop Park or Sundevil Road.

Brown film canister. Bring a pen. Keep an eye out for muggles!
