Unknown Monument Traditional Cache

Located in Brewer, in a small park area with a view of the
Penobscot River.
Our first cache hide! The cache is a camouflaged jar with a screw
on lid; also enough room for small TB's. Parking is available at
the park. The monument has carvings, but no explanation of why it
was placed. The cache is a short walk to the northeast from the
large stone monument. Please be careful, as the terrain might be
easy to slip on. The original contents are: Logbook, pencil,
disposable camera, 2 small super balls, 4 Russian coins (1 Ruble,
50 Kopek, 5 Kopek, and 1 Kopek), two matchbox cars, mini waterbomb
ball, a UPS keychain, and a "Lifeflight of Maine magnet".
