Number 2 in a series of views near limekilns. If travelling by car, we recommend parking (co-ords NY 98990 04470 ; N° 54 26.139, W° 002 01.025) near a seat dedicated to Joan Merrill, with a fabulous view of Arkengarthdale, on the gated road from Eskeleth to Whaw. Please leave all gates as you find them.

For those preferring to visit on foot, there is a nice circular walk via the road and the riverside path from either Eskeleth or Whaw. This dale is a spur off Swaledale and is one of the least visited.
