The trail will be difficult for the smallest children. A little older and it’ll be fun. Parental discretion advised! Dogs are permitted, but it might be difficult for them (you) if they can’t climb. There is no easy way around some of the difficult steps. I did it with Blanca, and she needed help at one point. I think she would have figured out how to do it if I had just gone on. The lowest portion of the trail, the most difficult and dangerous part, is protected with a railing.
There are several ways of getting there. The trail has a couple of exit points. To approach from the other end would be considerably longer, and I’m not sure it would eliminate all the problems.
