A nice drive up into the Ochoco's. Can be either a hike or drive.
Cache is located just off the Independent Mine Trail #808. You can park at the bottom and hike up about a mile to the cache or you can drive the road (only a couple of rough water bars) to within a few yards of the cache. Unless its a heavy snow year, this cache will be fun to find on skis or snowshoes.The difficutly level would be higher for a winter time hunt. I ski up to the top of Lookout Mt. several times each season and this spot gives you your first view of the mountains. Can you see one of the Twin Pillars??
Left a white jeep TB for the first finder. Cache is an old army first aid kit.
