New Orleans Memories: a Walk on the Wild Side

Near a street named after New Orleans' nickname.
This will require stealth and the cacher is advised to park in one of the nearby parking lots. This cache is named for the most popular sobriquet of New Orleans. It is NOT called "the big easy" or "the city that care forgot;" only Yankees and rubes call it New Or Leans (long e). Locals really don't call it Nawlins' either though it may sound that way. It is usually called New Or luns and is sometimes called after the name of this nearby street. We can only hope that it will be vital and restored reasonably soon.
