Geocache Description:

This cache is just outside Thornhill Broome State Beach Campground. Reserve a spot here!

This camo'd lemonade jar is placed directly across P.C.H. from campsite #45 where we camped this weekend. If you have never camped here, DO!!! Here's a tip, try to get the lowest number site (Farthest sites south of the Ranger Kiosk). The beach is much less rocky down there. In the cache is a FTF keychain and a WG dollar Track it here!, as well as other small items. The log is in the lid. Parking is not allowed from 10 PM - 5 AM unless you are camping here. There is a small trail that leads you to the cache, no need to step on anything. There is cactus in the area, so wear shoes. If you find yourself vertical, you've gone to far.

Point Mugu State Park has two year-round reservable campgrounds. One is developed (Big Sycamore Canyon, with 50 wooded sites and the other is known as Thornhill Broome). There's also a 12-site hike-in or bike-in campground at La Jolla Valley, reached via La Jolla Canyon or Sycamore Canyon. The walk-in campground has piped water and restrooms, but you'll need to bring your own stove and fuel; ground fires aren't permitted. Please post your coords if they vary alot from mine, this is at the bottom of a very high, steep cliff, so who knows.
