When we were kids, we were fond of the “Choose-Your-Own-Adventure” books. We decided to create this unique, non-linear multi as a tribute -- there is more than one path to the final. The coordinates above are for parking. See details below for first waypoint. All stages except for final are within 20 ft of trail.
The story begins…
One day, while innocently cleaning out your mother’s garage, you stumble upon an interesting photo. It is a picture of your long-lost uncle Marvin, who left his friends and family and all his worldly possessions to travel the world in a hot air balloon. Every once in a while the family will get a postcard from some exotic location like the Galapagos or Bora Bora, but no one has actually seen or spoken to Marv in years.
This picture is of little Marvie when he was a boy scout, no older than 12. He has a smirk on his face, as if he knows something you don’t. You turn the photo over, and read the following note: “the search for the big ammo box begins HERE: N 042 02.449 W071 12.074. Choose wisely, and watch out for the coyote!”
