FrancisScottKey: ### Geocache Owner Action Needed ###

What to do next?

  1. Post pertinent information with the 'Write Note' log type asap.
(If you're encountering unusual circumstances or ongoing issues, post a note every 30 days so the listing doesn't appear abandoned)
  2. Visit the container and provide maintenance, such as replacing the container.
  3. Update the posted coordinates (if necessary) making sure they are accurate.
  4. Confirm the geocache's trackable inventory.
  5. After the geocache is up to the standard, then post an Owner Maintenance log.
  6. Lastly, enable your geocache.

If no intervention from the CO is evident within 30 days from today's date, the listing will fall into archival status.

Geocache Description:

Scare Factor Rating: **** (Four)SFR INCREASED DUE TO RECENT EVENTS!!

The second in a five part series of some of Marylands most haunted places.

Baltimore - Notchcliff Road - Located about a mile and a half from the Loch Raven Reservoir, Notchcliff road is a long and winding dark road. The road, due to it's sharp turns and constant hills, has been the site of many accidents. One such accident stands out though. Around 11:30 p.m. coming in from the front way, double yellow lines slowly disappear and around the next turn, off in the distance you can see headlights and a mangled car. As you drive closer it slowly disappears and there is a tree with red "paint", busted up from the car.

This offset cache can only be done at night. Go to the listed coordinates with light in hand, and look around. You should be facing south and out of the way of traffic. It shouldn't be too hard to find what you need here in order to complete your task. You WILL travel past the scene of more than a few fatal accidents; the legends' story being one of those. I tried hard to find the tree mentioned in the local myth, but no luck. If you find it post the coords. Please drive safely on this road. Have fun!
