tbn501s: The area has radically changed, to the point that a cache the size of this one mine would be difficult to again hide. It was a fun "organically-hidden" cache for a large part of its life, originally created when I worked at the building to the east, and in a unique area of Long Beach.

And "NO", this - sadly -ain't no April Fool joke.

So, thanks to all you cachers, and like I always say, "Cache on".

Geocache Description:

Cache container holds CDs and is 'naturally' camouflaged.

Do you remember the days when you could sell or trade in your old CDs for new ones? Did you have a CD that was so bad that you were too embarrassed to sell it back as a trade-in, yet afraid to just throw it away because it would be an admission of your poor taste in music? Well, here's your big chance. Take one of the delectable CDs found in this container and replace it with one of your 'treasures'. Music, videos, games, software (OK, let's not flood it with AOL n.0 CDs, please) - all are acceptable. Initial contents include:

  • log (writing utensil not provided)
  • new list (re-initialized because prior contents were totally muggled)
    • Time Marches On (TimeLife radio recordings from WWII)
    • 42nd Street (soundtrack from original movie)
    • A Night In The Graveyard (good for Halloween)
    • Candlelight Classics (you're hopeless if you can't figure this one out)
    • "Striking It Rich" (from the eclectic group Dan Hicks And The Hot Licks)
    • Dumb Ditties (Dr. Demento-quality stuff)
    • "Fuzzbux" (by girl group Fuzzbox)
    • Little Bighorn Battlefield Auto Tour (experience what Custer was up against next time you're in Wyoming)

    • "A New High in Low" - 2 CD album by Pigface (I have the autographed cover if someone really wants it)
