Geocache Description:

Welcome to one of my riding destinations. Shackleford Trailhead is one of the access points to the Marble Mountain Wilderness Area.

This cache is 1.2 miles up a gravel road accessed from N41 35.330 W122 58.484 off of Quartz Valley Road. If you come in from the south you will have a chance to visit Mugginsville. Once at the cache site you can park at the bridge or just past the bridge you can take the left up the dirt hill and drive to the parking area for the falls.

This was also the site of a tragic accident Jeff Ellis lost his life in 2003 shooting these falls in a kayak. Visit (visit link)
