Geocache Description:

This Mystery/Puzzle Cache will take you on a little tour around beautiful Montagu and lead to the place where "Geiers" still do their "Sturzflug".

1. The Flight of the "Geier" begins at the historical -.-/.-/-./---/-./-.-/---/.--. (for decoding here some help: Morse). Or use Hint #1 for rough location. Please note the opening times are 08:00-16:30 only.

For more info on the location and its history ask at the Tourism Information Bureau at 24th Bath Street for the flyer.

2. Take a GPS reading of the rear end of the object which gave the place its name.
Now add 0.206' to the South and add 0.171' to the East for your next destination. But don't forget to enjoy the scenic view before you fly off to your next spot.

3. Once the Geier landed, look for Nr 25 with a little blue door with out disturbing the "pigeons" sorting the "news"... (Hint #2)

Use Nr 25 as your starting point:

South:

XX°--.--- = 1 left & 2 up
--°XX.--- = 2 left & 2 down
--°--.XX- = 6 left & 5 down
--°--.--X = 2 right & 1 up

East:

XX°--.--- = 1 right & 5 down
--°0X.--- = 2 right & 1 down
--°--.X-- = 2 right
--°--.-XX = 1 down

4. Now to get to the actual cache, land your "Geier" safely at: S 33°47.641' E 20°06.819' 207m asl and ascend for a 30 minute "flight". Use the path up to where you'll read 197-AA-NS engraved in a concrete post (hint #3). Now only head directly (hint #4) to the cache, which is hidded in a small rock cairn.

5. From the cache site you have an fantastic view and might even see some "Geier" (hint #5) doing a "Sturzflug" (hint #6)
