Geocache Description:

Hainault country park is 1 mile from fairlop underground station loads of free parking and an animal farm for the kids.Great for mountain bikes and walkers

This area lies just on the boundaries between London and Essex and on a good day you can see crystal palace like on the day I set the cache. The country park is widely used by dog walkers and cyclist’s horsy people and golfers. There are very well defined paths through out the area and obviously the deeper you go the smaller the paths get. The area in question near where the cache lies is known as hollow pond (it’s not hollow it’s full. Fishing is allowed during the season and a day license is available from the tea hut. Did I mention there was a tea hut that sells all manner of sweets and refreshments? Anyway the lake has a huge collection of geese and other wild foul so watch you’re step. There are now 5 caches within this area and if you are felling really fit you could walk all the way to north weald Country Park. The cache can be found behind the pond and in a lightly cover wooded area. You are looking for a large 2.4 litre close and clip container. Parking can be had at North 51.36.780 East 000.07.822 Good luck
