Geocache Description:

This cache is located off the Upper Loop of the Post Canyon Mountain Biking area, commonly known to area mountain bikers as Mitchell's Ridge. The cache is off a trail that is on the west side of the gravel road (Post Canyon Rd).

Please Note: This trail is heavily traveled by mountain bikers coming downhill who may not be able to see you hiking until they are right upon you. Please listen for bikers behind you and move off the side of the trail if you see/hear one coming.

The hike into this cache can be done from the bottom of Post Canyon if you want a longer hike, or you can drive to the Upper Portion and park alongside the gravel road about 2 miles from where the pavement meets gravel, and head in from there - take the trail on the west hand side of the road. You will need to take a smaller trail off to your left as you near the cache site - about a 1/2 mile hike from the gravel road.

The cache is an ammo box with an official geocaching sticker on it. It contains a waterproof log book and some fun toy items. The best treasure of this cache is the view from near it's location!
