Geocache Description:

This multi-cache will take you on a tour of the hepburn springs mineral springs and day spa area. There is a fair bit of parking although in the warmer months and peak tourist seasons it could be quite busy!!! The entire cache should take between 45 mins and 2 hours depending on your walking speed...

The first set of co-ordinates will bring you to the 1st of the springs. What is the number of letters in the name of the spring located here? This answer is A. Now head to the 2nd set of springs at the below co-ords. S37°18.680' E144°08.505' At these springs you should find two plaques. The first commemorates the redevelopment of the area. The 2nd plaque has a poem about the hepburn area... fill in the blanks below. Where reverent gum trees gray' leafed arching stems Enshrine the creek, 'tween walls of slanting slate Run {blank1}, siphoned from some buried crate In drops more precious that deep mined gems The elements are liquid in that stream And bursting bubbles charge the {blank2} The breath of nature moves the grasses here And all is tranquil as a midday dream The alchemist did set a mighty task To list and learn the components of life To change and find some radiant power now From atoms boiled in baking tube and flask And now we feat colossal human strife With things the caldrons of the {blank3} eschew WHS - 1962 {blank1} = and there are x letters {blank2} = and there are y letters {blank3} = and there are z letters Now onto location # 3 - S37°18.723' E144°08.571' D = the number of letters in the name of the spring located here. Location # 4 is at the following co-ords S37°18.725' E144°08.636' E = the number of letters in the name of the spring located here. Location # 5 is at the Argyle spring. From location # 4 you should see directions to this spring (an easy walk about 1km away). Go there and take co-ords at the spring's pump. You should get very close to the below co-ords S37°18.841' E144°09.F02' Ok... now onto the final location... S37°18.(A+2)(y-4)F' E144°08.(x-1)z(E-1+D-4)'
