Geocache Description:

An easy geocache close to SEATAC and the perfect place to exchange Travel Bugs.

What better place to exchange airplane related items, than at the airport?

This geocache located within 2 miles of the SEATAC airport makes an ideal place to bring your small aviation related items to exchange with other geocaching aviation enthusiasts. It also offers a place to drop off travel bugs that need to fly to far off places. You can easily hit this geocache when heading out or returning from a trip. It will also give you something to do while waiting to pick someone up from the airport when their plane is delayed.

If you are on a long stopover in SEATAC, you could reach the geocache by a 2 mile taxi ride.

Note: If you are an airline employee, you can ride the north lot shuttle bus to the employee parking lot, and the geocache is a 2 minute walk. (Pick up bus at far north end of bus tunnel on level one of parking garage)

The cache is located in a public open space owned by the Seattle Public Utility. There is a great overlook here:

There you can watch the planes landing and taking off. It is also fun to walk WEST on S. 146th street and stand under the approach path as the jets roar overhead.
