The cache is on Selden Islandand acessable by boat, hence the 5 star rating. You will be looking for a medium size container with a screw on lid and the usual trade items.
I have been looking for Cold Spring since I was introduced to Selden Island several years ago. While hiding Selden Views, a local hiker told me where to look and the rest is history. This spring was used by the ocean going boat traffic and was known as the best water and easiest to get to. There is still a pipe sticking out of the side of the hill with a steady stream of fresh cold water. Note, we don't recommend drinking the untested water, but what a temptation! There is a well beaten trail from the rivers edge directly to the spring and the cache is in this general area. The satelite reception wasn't very good but we took an average of three GPSr's.
