Fig-In Esplanade Trilogy Multi-Cache
tiddalik: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

A 3-stage multi-cache that will have you walking the length of the re-developed Cairns Esplanade.
This cache is designed to get you walking along the length of the new Cairns Esplanade (and return probably). There are many muggles at most times, so perhaps take a garbage bag and practice CITO (Cache in, trash out) as a clever disguise. Unlike some of the caches I have placed, this multi-cache definitely requires the use of a GPS.
The first waypoint (of three in total, the third being the actual cache) is a 35mm film canister, hidden at the base of a fig tree (in fact all three waypoints are in similar trees which look like figs to my rather botanically untrained eyes). At the first waypoint you will find the coordinates to get to waypoint 2 and then waypoint 2 (film canister again) has the coordinates for the final cache.
The final cache is a small plastic container with blue lid. When hidden it contained logbbok, pencil and sharpener, bouncy ball, bubble blower and key tag.
