Geocache Description:

An area formerly known as the George Washington Grove Picnic Area. The area is currently managed by the DEM and is open from 6AM to 11PM. Park in turn-out along the edge of the road and keep an eye out for poison ivy. This is almost a "park and grab" that should only take a few minutes to find. Lack of trail and overgrowth add to the difficulty/terrain ratings.

All users of state management areas must wear at least 200 square inches of solid day-glo fluorescent orange material as a hat or vest from the 2nd Saturday of October through the last day in February.

Find Point ID - LW1468 (Don't neglect to log it when found) then proceed 131' at 267 Degrees and look around to find the final cache. Cache container is a standard NATO 7.62mm ammo can. Original contents include a much coveted "Gold" Midway Cafe pin for the FTF, Pewter MC pins, a WJTB, Support Our Troops TB, an old A&W mug (small), Graffiti in the NW Conference book, a Newport Storm bottle-opener keychain, a Boy Scout patch from the Great Trail Council of Ohio, and an antique torpedo bottle.

Have fun,

Midway Cafe
