Geocache Description:

NO TRESPASSING!! This is a private business & is only accessible when U-Pick is open *OR* by appointment due to crop chemical spray schedules. Please call 402-873-5293 to schedule your visit to gain access to the trail system.

Here is the link to the U-Pick hours: U-PICK HOURS are dependent on spray schedule & the availability of items to pick.

Psalm 17:8 is the namesake scripture verse for this 2-stage multi.

Placed with permission at Kimmel Orchards near Nebraska City.

Tjstheone placed this cache in honor of their 23rd wedding anniversary. This multi originally took you to and through the scenic Kimmel Educational Trail System via 3 micro-redirects with "peripherally accurate coords coupled with biblical scripture hints" then to a 50 cal ammo can.

Well, all those stages took a long time to hike, lots of guessing, & tons of work to maintain. So...

As of 5-12-18 we have simplified the cache to only 2 stages. Yes, only two! The coords for these stages have been tightened to both now land within 50 feet of the containers (the original cache redirected you to stage four 150 feet from GZ, yikes!). S1 is still a micro & S2 is the original ammo can. We thought about repainting it but not yet.

Once you reach the posted coordinates you will still need the bible hint (see below) to find the first leg nearby & same for the final.

The creators of this cache rated it a difficulty 4 due to canopy cover and GPS signal interference in the area, & a terrain 3 due to all the walking. We will not change the D/T & mess up everyone's stats. Therefore, the coords are still less than perfectly accurate, & we will not tell you the best route to travel in expectation that you might still do some bushwhacking, whether actually required or not (lol).

There is normally a $5 charge for the trail, though we found if we ask politely & tell them what we are going for they will waive this. U-pick (where the trail is located) is officially open from approx May through September each year (starting with free access to view the apple blossoms, then on to strawberry picking, to whatever they grow in late summer).
