The Mermaid cache is unavailable for much of the day so do check the tides prior to your visit.
Best parking is at Morfa Mawddach Station OS SH628142 along side the Mawddach trail, or walk in across the railway bridge from Barmouth.
The cache has now been altered to a micro to be found beneath the obvious camo - hopefully it wont get muggled or washed away.

I note from previous logs that reference has been made to the presence of quicksand in the vicinity of the cache. Patches of quicksand in areas such as estuaries are common in nature and utmost care should be taken by anyone wishing to visit this cache.
