This area is bordered by Flint brook and the Nashua river. The terrain is gentle sloping with well traveled trails. Some of the area is deep woods with limited GPS reception. Some of the trails are muddy. Several streams cross the area but all have footbridges. The area can be accessed from the trailhead at the intersection of French Mill and Rideout roads. Flint Brook 1 has the same access point.
The original cache was a metal popcorn tin with log book and trinkets.
Like my Horrigan and Flint Brook 1, this cache can be accessed by foot or by canoe on the Nashua River. It is 2 miles upsteam from the public canoe launch on Tilton St. in Nashua or 1.5 miles downstream from the launch on Depot Rd. in Hollis.
*** As of Dec. 2024, cache is a small plastic container covered in camo tape with logbook and pencil. Could be difficult to find or extract in snow & ice, though this makes a nice snowshoe trek in winter. The main trails are good for mountain bikes.
