would like to invite you to a Christmas meet with the option to
partake in a Christmas meal & meet Father Christmas !
If you wish you can bring a present to the value of £5 to place in
Santas sack and pick out a present that someone else has placed in
there.
You are also welcome to take part in Eeyores Christmas
Quiz.There will be a small prize for the winning team.
For those not wishing to partake of the Christmas menu the main
bar will be open in normal licensing hours.
The venue is The Globe Hotel, 40 Main Street, Overton ( a 17th
century inn )near Morecambe, Lancashire.
Built in the 1600's the Globe is at the gateway to Sunderland
Point, which was , next to Bristol, the most important harbour on
the West Coast.
The Globe was a regular haunt of sailors returning from voyages to
the West Indies. Cargoes of sugar, rum, tobacco, mahogany &
cotton were unloaded at Sunderland Point, the outport of Lancaster.
Their Christmas Fayre menu is £11.95 per adult and £5.95 per
child for 3 courses (starter, main & sweet).

For the Real Ale buffs there is always a fine selection
available.
Children are welcome and there is a large car park in front of
the pub.

know by posting below stating numbers of adults and children by
Sunday 9th October 2005.
We will require a non refundable deposit of £2.50 per person by
Sunday 16th October 2005 off those requiring the christmas
meal
Anyone turning up on the day and deciding they would like a meal
will have to take a chance on whether they get a table.
