Geocache Description:

Marmaris vista, easy walk up gravel road. Only about 45 mins saunter.

Take a dolmus (minibus) from Marmaris to the Yat Marina on the isthmus at the far East end of Marmaris Bay. Don't go into the marina, walk up the dirt road that winds up the hillside at the far side of the marina. The cache is in a rocky outcrop (357'/101m asl) on the south side of the road overlooking Sedir Island and across the bay to Marmaris. There are quite a lot of bee hives here, so don't wear strong perfume or sunblock! Left travel bug (an ugly wee fella from Rhodes Memorial, Cape Town, South Africa), a beaded SA flag, TL5, turkish bracelet, fishing float. Rob and Annya will visit again in 2006 and if nobody has found the bug, they'll move him on.

Small note on cache maintenance: Marmaris geocache will be monitored by the other two members of the PAR-3 group, Rob and Annya who are based at Marmaris for at least this year and next.
