I saw the sign for Cabin Canyon and just had to see where it went. It was an easy desert drive and near the end it crossed a little creek several times. I'll bet this place was an awsome picnic spot before the trash, graffiti and the recent fire came through .
Just park in the obvious place and follow the ATV trail up the creek bed. I couldn't get very good GPS readings because of the canyon walls, so I made a rock cairn along the trail to identify the cache location {see spoiler pics}. I never did see a cabin. Enjoy the hunt and the views.
