Geocache Description:

HISTORICAL AREA WITH INTERSTING STORIES TO BE TOLD

Tasmanias first road bridge was built here in 1840.
Governor franklin came up this river in a steam boat to drive the first pile for the bridge. The bridge was paid for by a toll. The area is now park lands on the banks of the river. This has to be one of the best recreational rivers one could find.
Careful of muggles.
