Mad Hatter Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Vintor & Gert: Checked cache out and found that the final was wet, wp 2 & 3 both missing and wp one was missing info. Very little interest in this cache over last 5 years so I am putting it to rest.

Geocache Description:

I gave this cache a difficult rating because waypoints are well hidden and hard to find(Ihope lol) The difficult terrain rating is because you will encounter some steep hills, you should be on trails most of the time but some light bushwacking is necessary.

I hope you have as much fun finding this cache as I did hiding it.
No mysteries, signs to read or math to do here, simply find the waypoints to get the coordinates for the next one. Cache will take you along several interconnecting trails. I have divided waypoints into 2 legs A & B consisting of 3 waypoints each. Leg A can be hiked, biked or you could use your atv, snowbobile or 4x4(jeep,truck). Main trail to leg B is best hiked because trail is gated. I have included these coordinates{N44 51.440 - W063 35.793}for those traveling by atv or snowmobile (I tried it with my Nissan 4x4 with no luck)as this trail will connect you to leg B, for hikers this is a longer route. Using a mountain bike for connector trail is possible but difficult and you will most likely need to carry in a few spots. Park here to start leg A {N44 51.332 W063 35.857} if you don't use optional connecting trail park here for leg B {N44 51.096 W063 35.931}. When you reach WP-5 I suggest following the blaze trail till you hit the open softwoods, then head SW to the cache this will steer you away from private property and save you some heavy bushwacking. Cache is a fish fillet container clad in camo tape and will contain a log book and several new hats to pick from. You can trade hats(new only please) or regular items, if you have no trade help yourself to a hat anyway as I will keep cache stocked when it gets low. If you see there is less than 5 hats to choose from let me know and I will restock. I am also adding a FTF Lotto Super7 ticket(good luck). There should be no problem doing cache in the winter. A great place to walk the dog. Watch for porcupines as my two bullmastiffs got into one while walking here a few years ago.{what a mess it was} While I was waiting for the cache agent to review and list my cache I went caching myself and found A LOT OF DEAD WOOD by NS GAL. In this cache was a Dr Seuss hat, I have moved this hat to the Mad Hatter cache. Please use DR SEUSS hat for taking pics do not remove it unless you are trading for a goofier hat to take pics with. THANKS!!!
