Where is the cache? We don't know. We wish we did, but we don't. But we think that you know where it is. Perhaps you don't think you do, but, nevertheless, you do. In order to test this hypothesis, we've developed a method to tease this information out of the part of your brain where you hide things that even you don't know about.
- Pick a number between 1 and 9
- Subtract 5 from the number
- Multiply the result by 3
- Multiply the result by itself (In other words, square the result)
- Add the digits until you get a single digit
(for example, if your number was 64: 64 => 6 + 4 = 10 => 1 + 0 = 1)
- If the number is less than 5, add 5; otherwise subtract 4
- Multiply the result by 2
- Subtract 6 from the result
- Convert the result into a letter
(1 = A, 2 = B, 3 = C and so on)
- Pick the name of a country that begins with that letter
- Use the second letter of the country and think of an animal that begins with that letter
- Think of the color of the animal.
- Convert the first letter of the country, the animal and the color to numbers
(A = 1, B = 2, C = 3 and so on.
- These numbers will correspond, respectively, to X, Y and Z in the following coordinates.
N32 5Y.(Y-5)(Z+Y-X)(Z+1)
W117 10.X(Z-X)(Z-Y)
We can't be completely sure, but with the information provided by you, we believe that this is where the cache will be found. Please go take a look and let us know if it is there. (In your log entry, please do not include any information that would influence the choices made by other cache seekers.)
By the way, we may not know where the cache is, but we do know that it is a micro and that you need to bring your own writing implement.
Good Luck and Good Hunting!
