Grandpa's 1st Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

BlueRajah: I am archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Please notice that I asked you some time ago to check this cache, and no action was taken. I had hoped that the cache may be replaced, or a note placed that you were going to go check on this cache in the near future.

If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the next three months please contact me, and assuming it meets the guidelines, I will be happy to unarchive it.

Thank you,

Geocache Description:

Elevation 10,274 feet.

This is our first cache hide and it was even more fun because my Dad was able to join us for his first ever Geo-Cache outing. So we have decided to call this cache Grandpa’s First. Just south of Brian Head Town there is a dirt road (204) and a marker called BEAR FLAT SUGARLOAF. This logging road is a popular access trail for ATV’s to get into the Dry Lakes and High Mountain area. It is accessible by automobile as well. Though a high clearance vehicle may be required to get you to the last couple of hundred yards or so. The cache site is not far from the road / trail and provides a million-dollar view to the south and the Cedar Breaks area. The cache is contained in an ammo can. The original contents are as follows.
? A camera to take a photo of yourself or your group. Please don’t take the camera.
? White Jeep Travel Bug
? The Ski Boot Travel Bug. Help the boot along to other ski resort areas.
? Where’s George Dollar
? New package of BIC white out
? New package with mini stapler and staples
? New cell phone swivel clip carry accessory
? New box of ten 3.5 inch diskettes
? New can of Poorboys Speed Paste Ski Wax
? 4 Beer coasters
? New package of Winners Screen Saver CD
? $10 gift card to the Samba Grill at the Gateway in SLC.
? New package of highlighters
? New Multi-Tool
? New golf tee dispenser (hang from your golf bag)
? For the kids a new in package Happy Meal toy of Donald Duck
? Log book with pens.

The cache is an ammo can. It shouldn’t be very difficult. Please trade fairly. Enjoy the cache and enjoy the view!
