Geocache Description:

After completing the hike from High Lead carpark to Big Pats Creek we though we would place a cache to celebrate.

The hike took us two days with an overnight camp at Starlings Gap. We covered about 30 km with the last 3 km on the first day being completed in the dark.

After climbing over and crawling on knees under the fallen trees on the track on Saturday we decided to day to walk most of the final leg on made, trafficable roads. A little bit further but a lot easier.

The cache is a small Sistema box and contains the usual small swaps and log book and the area can be easily reached by car.

There is a picnic area with table, toilets and a fireplace about 400 m south of the cache.
