It should be possible to find this cache without GPS, although it
might be more difficult.
The cache is located close to Port Launay Marine National Park,
which is a good place for doing some snorkeling. In case the tide
is not too high, you see a few small beaches on your way to the
cache. Descent and enjoy the nature!
This cache was a mystery with a riddle when it was hidden in 2005.
There was no hotel, just a beach and nothing else.
When they built the hotel, I removed the riddle,
but the cache type mystery cannot be changed. So I kept the cache as it was.
Station 1: S04°39.162, E055°24.072
Station 2: S04°39.297, E055°23.881
Station 3: S04°39.249, E055°23.758
Start at the terminal bus stop in Port Launay = station 1.
Go to the beach and walk to the end of the beach on the left =
station 2.
There is a foot path going uphill. Follow this path along the coast
until station 3 (ca. 10-15 minutes).
In case of the tide being low enough you can walk all the way down
at the sea shore.
At station 3 you see on your right striking patterns on the rocks
(see pictures RocksCacheSite).
A little bit uphill is the cache. The cache, the patterns on the
rocks and the cross are on a line.
The cache is in the middle between two paths, one path down close
to the sea (= station 3), the other one above the cache. The cache
is between two big rocks in a hole with a stone in front of it (see spoiler pictures).
The cache is a plastic box.
Small note on cache maintenance:
I can do cache maintenance only on my visits to Seychelles (this is
once a year).
