Back in early days of St. Charles, horse rails would have been a
common sight throughout the area. While on a recent cache outing
with my kids, I spotted this relic from the past, and just knew
that it had to have a cache associated with it.
The cache is located off a busy thoroughfare in the Frenchtown
area of St. Charles. The area is very popular for it's antique
stores, and some very good restaurants.
The cache is kid, stroller and wheelchair friendly, available
24/7, in any weather, year round.
The nearby railway tracks have been unused for years, and are
not a concern.
