Thanks to some really fine volunteers, GBES will take you on a tour of the most haunted caches in the Truckee Meadows.
Ghosts Hosts and Crypt Keepers will be your guides as you search for 5 or 9 new caches that you can log on Geocaching.com and Ghost-Points for your Scare Card. The more Ghost-points you have, the more chances you have of winning some Big Prizes.
It's FREE!!
Some Ghost Hosts will be offering special challenges for Bonus Ghost-points. The Ghost of dearly departed Reno Hiker is already working on a special task. BE AFRAID! BE VERY AFRAID!!
Haunted Cache Ghost Hosts – Crypt Keepers, if you will – will be looking for your vote as they compete for “the Best Haunted Cache” cash award.
This FREE event is for families and all Vampires and Werewolves.
It all starts at the Haunted Park Lane Mall in their northwest parking lot near the coffee hut. You’ll want to be there between 2:00 and 2:30.
From there you will drive to the various haunted caches.
The event will culminate in a gathering at Bartley Ranch Park at 5:00 for Tricks and Treats, Karaoke, Costume Contests (one for the kids and one for adults), Piñata Bashing and prize giveaways.
Over $200 in prizes will be awarded.
Since we do not have to pay for the venue, there will be no admission fee. That's right! FREE!!
