This cache container was created by libertylady for the "When is a Film Canister NOT a Film Canister?" event and was given to me during the container exchange.

Log only so please bring your own pen.

I had wanted to hide a final cache along the BLUE hiking/biking trail in McAllister Park to give y’all the opportunity to find 3 caches (this one, ‘Leaping Lizards at The Majestic Oaks’ and ‘Stadium Seating’) while out on this trail. Sort of makes the effort a little more worthwhile. Exercise + Multiple Cache Finds = Fun.

The BLUE trail runs primarily outside the recently built flood control dam. There is fencing near the dam you will want to avoid. This fencing runs from N29° 32.217 W098° 27.380 to N29° 33.059 W098° 26.908 along the levee.

To provide some assistance in finding the BLUE trail there are 2 places where it intersects with the RED trail. On Buckhorn Rd (N29° 33.287 W098° 26.764) and near the police substation on Jones-Maltsberger Rd (N29° 33.613 W098° 27.550).
