Freckles' Big Adventure Traditional Cache

On certain weekend mornings Freckles and I take a long walk around
Rockville Hills Regional Park. For me this is much needed exercise
but for him it’s a big adventure. He sniffs just about every bush
and marks as many of them as he can. He gets very excited when we
come across other people walking their dogs and even more so when
he encounters wildlife. He loves to splash around the edges of the
lake looking for frogs and he almost pulls me off the trail chasing
after lizards. We found a small garter snake last time that gave
him his greatest thrill yet. It’s amazing how much fun a simple
walk in this park can be, especially if you’re a dog. You’re
looking for a full-sized ammo box hidden in a pretty obvious place.
Please replace all the cammo as you found it. If you have a dog
that can handle a long hike please bring him/her along (on a leash
of course) and be sure to spend some quality time together at the
lake. You might want to bring a digital camera so you can include
in your log a picture of either your pooch or some of the wildlife
you encounter. Have a great adventure!
