Geocache Description:

soap lake, n on fir to shoreline dr. go to end of road and park at chain.
1.5 mile round trip, 100 ft elevation gain. gravel road.

location is an old abandoned scout camp, with remnants of obstacle course, pavilion and flagpole. some remaining firepits and concrete slabs. bring camera and spend time enjoying the views. watch for snakes and ticks.
cache is near large concrete pad under a clump of brush. it is an oxyclean container. contents are turquoise and crystal. this is such a beautiful area that we felt taking a treasure of the earth and leaving a treasure of the earth was fitting. don't hurry the trip. stop and enjoy the quiet and solitude.
