Entiat Summit Road traverses the Entiat Mountains in a Northwest to
Southeast direction at 5000+ ft. elevation. It is connected to
several other roads such as Mills Canyon Road near Entiat, Swakane
Canyon Road, Nahahum and Derby Canyon Roads near Cashmere, and
Eagle Creek Road near Leavenworth. Entiat Summit Road passes over
the top of Chumstick Mountain (5810 ft.) and SugarLoaf Peak (5814
ft.)
The cache is located just south of Chumstick Mountain. The view
from this site is looking East and Northeast. Points of interest
from this location are: Waterville Plateau, Chelan Butte, Stormy
Mountain, and the Chelan Mountains.
