Geocache Description:

This cache is placed at a very scenic location along the Great North Walk. The walk in will take 20-30mins with the first part along boardwalks and then a well defined trail. The trail is largely flat apart from an uphill at the end. The reserve is closed between 5:30pm and 7:30am and can be VERY busy on weekends. It took us a while to lay the cache due to the high level of muggle activity. We saw lots of families along the walk so definitely bring the geokiddies. Sorry no geo-pups allowed but we do recommend a picnic, esp. if the weather is good.

The cache it self is once again a checker plate box. Though not as a large as our first cache, it's still a respectable size. The cache is no more then 4m off the main trail so take care retrieving and replacing the cache as you can be seen from above and below. Long pants are recommended but not essential.

The cache when laid, included: log book, pen and pencil, CD's, toys and novelty items.
