A nice walk through the woods on the Goss Lake Woods trail system. Recommend going to gosslakewoods.org to learn more about this area and get a trail map.
This cache was hidden while out walking one of our favorite local trail systems. The trails can be muddy or dusty depending on the time of year. There are several different ways to get to the cache depending on where you park and whether you have any local knowledge. The walk to the cache and back may take an hour or so. One approach has you walking across private lands on a trail easement. Don't be alarmed by the PRIVATE signs, it's OK to use the trail easement. Please ensure you stay on the main trail and respect the private property. Several side trails are posted with "NO TRESPASSING" signs. The cache is a PVC tube painted black, about 18" long with a 3" opening, so it can only take smaller items. It may be a little tricky to find because GPS reception can be spotty. Cache is hidden right along the trail. Please hide it well. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT SCREW THE CAP ON SO TIGHT THAT THE NEXT CACHERS CAN'T OPEN IT!! Enjoy the woods and the hunt!
